Why Evanescence?
Evanescence is a superb band, originating from Little Rock,
Arkansas, with a unique sense of music, style, and lyrics. From
the get-go, they've proved to be a monumental group, so why not
is more of the question.
Who runs
I-LDC?
That'd be me, Dai [ as in Diana
]. I've been an Ev fan since 2002, like a healthy majority
of others. It all started with BTML and MI, which were both featured
in DareDevil, and it just grew from there. To date, I've been to six shows and two video shoots. Whoo! Any questions for me can be asked via e-mail,

my username there is 'dai.'
Do you
have site contributors?
Yes. Reliable ones, at that, who help me maintain the message
I'm trying to support here, being the reliable source for Evanescence
news that's not only up to date, but historically correct as well
for the newer fans. Team LeCompt and The Good Reverend Doctor
often contribute information, though the only bits that are actually
posted are handled as such when it is clear / permissible to do
so. Again, there are no illegal spoilers featured on this site
- images, media or information alike - and I intend to keep it
that way as full respect for the band and their artistry.
Why the title, ''Imaginary
Light''?
On Evanescence's album, Fallen, track number seven is
entitled, ''Imaginary.'' This version is a personal favorite and
perhaps even most favorable of the album, and the lyrics
stood strong with the theme of the webpage concept. I personally
wanted something more mysterious and fragrant, as opposed to dark
and morbid, which is how I personally see Ev—something a
little more than expected and much more than meets the eye.
What's
the deal with your logo?
I created something elegant and complex, but very simple with
the 'paper flower' idea in mind. ''In my field of paper flowers.''
Again, with the ''Imaginary'' references. I created the logo in
2003, just after I initially began to create the page.
Gallery
Stuff - Steal?
Preferably no, but I know people will regardless. If you choose
to host images on your own site, please give the correct
credit to this site. The point of the gallery upon this page was
to feature photographs I'd taken myself, as well as pictures I
scanned myself. It's only fair. Hotlinking will not be tolerated.
You wouldn't want someone to do it to you, so don't do it to me.
