[ Layout Update! ] 09 Dec 2005
|
I've finally finished the primary sub-layouts for the page - and, like I mentioned before with the new index style - it's about damn time. Thanks again for the kind words - I really appreciate them. Just a few more pages to redesign, and we'll be at a comfortable 100% for the new year.
With great struggle, there is great reward, right? Right.
Also, I've just added a little chatbox to the sidebar yonder, so please feel free to drop a line or two. I'd love to hear your input on the page, or even just a ``hello!``
And yes, if you leave something not-so-charming, I will delete it. Must look out for the other viewers, of course. :x
Spread the word about I-LDC! I'm going to make some banners soon, so ... watch this space as per usual. |

[ NO EV ON NARNIA! ] 05 Dec 2005
|
''EVANESCENCE frontwoman Amy Lee has posted the following message on the EVANESCENCE message board EvBoard:
``Hey everybody!!!! It's been a crazy couple of weeks, but everything is going SO GREAT in the studio. I can hardly contain my excitement for this record, and I'm happier than I've been in so long I can't remember.
I wanted to make sure everyone knows that I DO NOT have any music in [the upcoming film] 'The Chronicles of Narnia.' I did write music for it, that I love very much, but it was rejected for the movie because it was 'too dark' and 'too epic.' My darlings, if I can't write dark, epic music, I can't live.``

[ Management Issues ] 04 Dec 2005
|
''EVANESCENCE singer AMY LEE is being sued by her former management company over alleged unpaid commissions.
Rider Management bosses insist Lee owes them a minimum of $10 million after charging her with withholding commissions from them.
In countering, the singer insists she has no obligation to pay the company, according to entertainment news website TMZ.com.''

|
Future Leaders Of the World has put up a clip of their latest song entitled ''Innocent.'' Check it out on FLOW's MySpace.
I decided to change up the primary layout for I-LDC. About time, right? I'll be tinkering with it for a while, so please bear with me as the other pages are still unmodified. Fixed the counter, too. It was totally defunct.
I'm also rethinking about hosting pre-''Fallen'' tracks on the site. We'll see.
More Ev news is bound to start flooding in with the next few weeks, as they prepare for the new year. Keep an eye out!

Official 1 Records and Evanescence Bandmates Knock'em out!
''(PRLEAP.COM) Little Rock, AR - Official 1 Records, Little Rock’s premier independent label has enlisted the assistance of Grammy-rocker, John Le Compt of platinum-selling alternative rock band "Evanescence" and Phil Tayler, front man for alternative rock band, "Future Leaders of the World" to re-mix Official 1 Records’ smash hit, "Knock’em Out!" The song was inspired by Arkansas’ World Champion Boxer, Jermain Taylor, as he prepares to defend his belt against ex-champ, Bernard Hopkins on December 3, 2005.'' Read the whole press release here.

John LeCompt and Phil Tayler Autographed Gear on eBay
''Hey guys, me and Phil from future leaders are selling some of the gear that we have been demoing with. We have moved on to some different tones and want to recycle out some of the gear to try some new and different gear. These came in handy at first, but the sound we are reaching for is more of a solid state harder sound. The amp is a tube Marshall and the guitar is a guild.
Thanks a million and talk at ya' later, peace.''

[ OH, SNAP!? ] 14 Oct 2005
|
Hey, guys! Long time no update. After a few moves and such, I should be getting around to updating this badboy soon enough. I'm also in the process of making a fansite for one of Rocky and John's latest band projects, Mourningside. No link available now, so check out their MySpace if you haven't already.
I've done a few updates on the band section. The gallery's been acting weird lately - AH, THANK YOU, COPPERMINE! I may be looking for a new hosting service for that, so please stay tuned. You can, however, view the images if you have a ''view image'' right click selection option. Sigh.
Also! I'm slowly adding affiliates that have rolled in. Please be patient, and if you don't see your site on here, please E-MAIL again. Thanks. ;] |

[ OFFICIALLY OPEN! ] 14 Oct 2005
|
Imaginary-Light.com, also known as ILDC is officially open! What I like to call `a little tribute to a huge band,` ILDC hopes to offer what we can, providing original scans and photos of the groundbreaking band, EVANESCENCE. Feel free to wander where you will, but keep in mind we're still in construction.
Don't get excited now; there's still a lot to do around this place, but I promise I'll put forth the effort, little by little. Everything seems to be in order, but there's a bit of a void in the Lyric and Gallery sections. Only a few lyrics are up, same with the gallery, but it'll be worth the wait in the end.
